THE
TCHUKUDU
KIDS
There are 30 children in the Tchukudu Kids’ Home: the youngest is 4 years old, the product of the rape of a young girl; the oldest is 11. Because children over 12 years may be seized for recruitment by armed militias, the 200+ older children are living in foster homes in neighbouring areas.
TCHUKUDU

Over 400 children from the TKH and the Welcome/Foster families, as well as children of the women who are part of the Tchukudu Women’s Centre, attend the school.
For more information on the Jonathan Holiday School, and for recent developments regarding its expansion with a second building, please see Heather Haynes’ site
