Emergency evacuation to Idjwi

Following the deadly eruption of Mt.Nyiragongo on Saturday 22nd May, all the children in the Tchukudu Kids' Home plus the women from the Tchukudu Women's Training Center have been evacuated, via our new boat, the Nihire, to Idjwi island. Earthquakes continue, and the situation is still worrying, but the children are safe and happy on Idjwi. Funding is need to cover essential expenses, such as mattresses and blankets, cooking equipment and food. If you can contribute any amount, we would be very grateful.
